With no railway line from Kumasi to the northern region of the country, former president John Mahama has expressed questions about the ability of the Boankra Inlaw Port to foster international trade and business in the nation.
Recently, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, the Finance Minister, gave assurances that efforts are being made to find a location for the completion of the Boankra Integrated Logistics Terminal, also referred to as the Boankra Inland Port project, which is located in the Ashanti Region’s Ejisu Municipality.
The earlier estimate for the completion of the over 330 million dollar project was March 2024.
John Mahama, in his address to the Association of Ghana Industries, asserts that the administration is making mistakes.
