Residents of Seketia-Kwatwoma, a rural hamlet in Jaman North in the Bono region, are staging protests in response to the dearth of social services in their neighborhood.
Among the difficulties they face include inadequate restrooms, poorly maintained roads, contaminated water supplies, and a weak communication system.
Following the Onua News team’s visit to the neighborhood, some locals expressed their frustration to us.
Residents’ Voice
The local assemblyman Obeng Stephen informed the press team that there had been no progress in getting the authorities involved to address this issue.
