Figo Atia Awonekai, the parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic party for Bolgatanga Central, has accused Isaac Adongo, the current MP, of purposefully amassing GHC 1 million from the MP’s common budget in order to purchase votes in this year’s elections.
Figo Atia Awonekai, the NPP’s Upper East Regional Secretary, made these remarks at the Bolgatanga constituency campaign team’s inauguration.
In an effort to unseat the NDC in the Bolgatanga central constituency, the NPP has already established a campaign team in preparation for the 2024 election.
Figo Atia Awonekai, the parliamentary candidate, is hopeful that she will unseat vocal MP Isaac Adongo.
The campaign team consisted of 78 party members from the constituency, polling place, council of elders, TESCON, youth clubs, and other organizations.
