At the third edition of the Ghana Fintech Awards, Broadspectrum Ltd. (BSL), a fully owned indigenous Ghanaian complete ICT service provider, took home nine awards, including IT/Tech Firm of the Year.
As a result, Broadspectrum easily wins the most awards of the evening. Less than half as many awards as Broadspectrum were won by the second-highest award winner of the evening, who took home four.
The theme of the awards ceremony, which was put on by Arkel Limited and the Ghana Fintech and Payments Association with assistance from KPMG and the Bank of Ghana, was “Shaping a Sustainable and Inclusive Financial Future.” It plays a crucial role in encouraging reflection and teamwork among the FinTech community.
By giving business executives a venue to meet and participate in talks about the direction that FinTech is taking in Ghana. The awards ceremony is more than just an occasion to honor accomplishments; it creates a space for conversation and creativity that advances the ecosystem as a whole.
Of the nine awards that Broadspectrum received, six went to its digital payment business, one to the agritech subsidiary, one to each of the two individual CEOs, and one to the parent firm.
Broadspectrum Limited, the parent firm, was named IT/Tech Firm of the Year, while Lovestone E. Mamattah, the Chief Information and Security Officer (CISO) of the organization, was named Fintech CTO/CIO of the Year. Razak Awudulai, the CEO, was named Fintech Personality of the Year (Male).
Agrospectrum Limited, the company’s agritech subsidiary, was also named Agritech of the Year.

The telecoms feats of Broadspectrum
constituted As a provider of ICT services, BSL obtained a license to operate a submarine cable in 2021 specifically for the Google Equiano Cable.
In addition, the business has solid relationships with important Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to help with operations and service provision. There are three (3) OEM classifications. BSL collaborates with Huawei, Tejas, Dell, Cisco, Radwin, YahSat, and MicroTik in networking and transmission. BSL and Fortinet are partners in cybersecurity.
