A military amour vehicle has been involved in a dangerous accident at Highways, an surbub in the Bawku Municipality of the Upper East on Monday 26th December 2022.
Two Military men who were on board sustained various degrees of injury and were sent for treatment at the ‘Doctor Asana Hospital’ in Bawku.
Sources at the hospital say, immediate medical attention has been given to the victims, but they may be transferred outside the region if the need arises.
The amour vehicle was seen at the accident scene turned upside down.
The Kusasi ethnic group some few days ago accused the military of complicity in the killing of a woman believed to be innocent of any crime. The woman was then having a chat with her husband on her veranda. This infuriated the Kusasis and as a result, they invoked the curses of their gods against the military by pouring libation to incite the gods against them.
