“Touch not my anointed…” is a quote that is usually on everyone’s lips whenever a ‘man of God’ is criticized or treated wrongly. Well, maybe there have actually been cases where the ‘offenders’ suffered the repercussions for ‘abusing a man of God.’
In the year 1996, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua, was accused of drug trafficking, arrested and detained for 13 days. But later it was found out that he had been accused wrongly and the police tended an apology to the prophet.
One of the policemen by the name ‘Yusuf Hassan’s made a confession of the whole incident, which was aired on Emmanuel TV. He said:
“On our way to the office, we asked him that – if he was a man of God, let him disappear.
“Our officers destroyed a lot of things while searching for drugs – but we couldn’t find anything. On the thirteenth day he was released because nothing incriminating was found on him or with him.
Hassan also stated that calamity befell all the police officers involved in the arrest of TB Joshua. Read what he said below:
“Among the officers that came to arrest TB Joshua, three of them are no longer alive. All 18 officers, except for myself, have been dismissed. I am on suspension after a court-case landed me in prison for ten months. I want God to deliver me from the participation I took in this arrest.”
Well, what do you make of the whole thing?
Do you think God visited the policemen for harrasing his anointed?
Well, for me, I think the whole thing was staged. But feel free to have a different opinion.
