His condition had initially improved and was taken out of intensive care, only for his condition to deteriorate later, leading to his demise.
British Rapper, Ty, has died from coronavirus.
Ty, real name Ben Chijioke, was confirmed dead by his team on Thursday.
He was aged 47. He passed on he was hospitalised and placed in a medically-induced coma following ‘complications’ surrounding the virus.
The rapper was once nominated for his album titled: Upwards.
According to a fundraising page,
Ty was admitted to hospital with medical complications related to the coronavirus.
The star was then placed into a medically-induced coma, and later put on a ventilator, but was moved out of intensive care after his condition improved, according to report.
In the fundraisers’ last post on April 19, friend Diane Laidlow says “Hey guys. Just to update you that TY is now out of the intensive care unit and is on a normal ward. He is doing much better. Super excited.”
“I closed the page a few days ago but several people contacted me because they wanted to donate so I opened it again for a few days.”
