The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on Muslims to adopt to the sacred values of Ramadan to commit themselves in humanitarian work.
According to him, Ramadan was instituted for Muslims to dedicate themselves to God and to the service of humankind.
In a post to wish Muslims Ramadan Mubarak in order to usher them into their fasting, Nana Akufo-Addo stated that they should devote themselves to God and commit themselves to the principles of love, sacrifice and dedication to help build mankind and the country.
He charged them to strive to live by those virtues in order for them to continue seeking the good and welfare of humanity even after the Ramadan season.
The President also urged them to remember the world in prayers to make God heal the land and the world from the deadly Coronavirus as they embark on the fasting.
“I wish all the Muslims the best of the Month. May the Almighty Allah bless us all, and make our nation great and strong. Ramadan Mubarak,” he added.
