Dancehall superstar Shatta Wale has said that he wants to become president, and he is trying to get support from the public to make this happen.
In a recently circulated video, the Dancehall artist expressed his desire to work with Blogger Shadrack Crabe to “change Ghana” in the near future.
He mentioned that, in light of his “remarkable exploits” with the Shatta Movement, his father had previously counseled him to enter politics.
Shatta Wale clarified that he can only fulfill his aim of becoming president if Ghanaians reject all negative associations with him and unite to support and motivate him to run for office in the 2028 elections.
“I am the president Ghana needs. My father wants me to enter politics because he sees how self-assured I am and how well I understand the principles of effectively leading a movement. That explains why the largest fan base in Africa belongs to my Shatta Movement.

He bemoaned the current situation in Ghana, saying that its citizens live in a “state and not a country” and cited instances of recent injustice and violation of other people’s rights.
