The Ghana Meteorological Agency has warned residents of three southern regions of the country of possible unannounced rains. This is due to a band of clouds observed over the maritime environment in the coastal sectors.
A statement issued in Accra on Christmas day December, 25, indicated that this is expected to produce rains with varied intensities within the Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions, “tonight.”
According to the agency, “the probability of occurrence is 70%.” As at the evening of December 25, some southern towns in Greater Accra have reported of some drizzling.
“Updates will be issued as and when necessary,” the statement added.
