Kelly Clarkson‘s fans were shocked to hear that she filed for divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock and it seems her friends had a similar reaction.
Sources told E! News that Kelly‘s friends and colleagues are “shocked” to find out that she and Brandon are calling it quits on their marriage.
One insider said, “It came out of nowhere. It’s all so sad for the kids. They were always such a loving family. It never seemed like they had any issues.”
Kelly and Brandon were the parents of two young kids – River Rose, 6, and Remington Alexander, 4. He also has two kids from a previous relationship.
Another insider said that Brandon was always around at Kelly‘s daytime talk show “on almost all show days and they were very loving towards one another. They drove home from set together every night.”
