Gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, has reacted to news about the death of pastor, Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, otherwise known as Apraku My Daughter.
The pastor said to have died earlier today, according to broadcast journalist, Kofi Adomah.
Prior to his death, Sonnie Badu had pledged to support him, after a video of him emerged in which he appeared intoxicated.
Reacting to his death news in a post on Instagram, Sonnie Badu wrote: “We have just been informed that the pastor passed on to be with the Lord this morning. It looks like it was my urge to helping him video that alerted people to go check on him and when they did he had passed on. No one had heard from him for 3 days … Sir, may you Rest In Peace. I heard you were a giver and loved people. Tears are in my eyes while watching KOFITV now … On this note, I want us to pray for pastors and ministers who have sacrificed everything for the gospel and their families. Some are going through intense depression others have attempted suicide, yet they have to stand and pray, minister, take care of souls … please don’t forget to say a little prayer. #DrBadu.“

News of his death came hours after Ghanaian gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, pledged to help him.
His death was announced this afternoon by Ghanaian broadcaster, Kofi Adomah, in an Instagram post.
African Entertainment had earlier today reported that Gospel musician, Sonnie Badu, was expected to help
Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, affectionately called Apraku My Daughter.
Apraku My Daughter was
the leader of the King Jesus Evangelistic Ministry International in Kumasi, Ghana’s second largest city.
But after a video of him looking very intoxicated went viral on social media, Sonnie Badu, has pledged to go to his rescue.
After seeing the viral video, Sonnie Badu took to his Instagram page to ask his followers to help him find the former preacher.
Apraku My Daughter
According to him, even though he does not know ‘Evangelist’ Apraku My Daughter personally, he believes someone who was previously a man of God should not end up this way.
In his post sighted by African Entertainment, he says “David saw Saul and said I will not touch God’s anointed. Where do we find this man? I don’t know him, but we will help him … @nana_amoakoadjei son @pritieyra daughter please find him … He is still Gods servant… hold on sir, help is on the way ….”
However, in a rather sad twist of event, the man is now believed to be dead, missing out on the help he so much needed.
