The NowNews Media is an online independent commercial company in Ghana.
The dream started in the late 80s, when the Founder established a small pirate FM radio in the Swanlake area in North Kaneshie , popularly called ISSAFM on 88.9FM with scraps and parts of discarded radio and Tv systems, as a radio and Tv repairer. The idea was suspended, after he graduated from Manifold College as a broadcast Journalist and started work at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in 1992 as a producer,presenter and DJ.
Around that same period, a good visionary friend Kwasi Korbor ]KK} believed it could be bigger, and introduced another friend, Kwasi Twum, who was a business man in Okaishie in central Accra, who then picked the idea and invested in it and came out with JoyFM in 1995.
However, the flame kept burning on the quiet, and after over 30 years, has eventually emerged as NowNews.com
NowNews.com is therefore an authentic communication idea,processed into news and business website made for the world by a Ghanaian.
