Outspoken Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has hinted he has interest in investing in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
The CEO of Kenpong Media indicated that he will support any musician who has the talent and wants to break through.
He made this declaration on Accra-based YFM when host Erskine Whyte asked the lawmaker to list his favorite foreign and Ghanaian musicians.
Mr Agyapong named Spanish singer, Julio Iglesias, Italian singer, Andrea Bocelli, Kenny Rogers as his favorite international acts, and Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, King Promise and Medikal as his Ghanaian best.
When posed a question as to if he wold ever want to invest in the struggling music industry he said “i can help individual artistes but not set up a record label.”
“if an individual artiste is coming up and needs help, I can do that,” he added.
